Ed McKay is a Boatswain's Mate, First Class. He lied about his age to join the military and after retiring, started running a tour on board the U.S.S. Missouri and knew Steve's grandfather, Steve McGarrett Sr.
McKay helped Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett when a hostage situation broke on board on the tourist ship.
