Lana I Ka Moana (Adrift) is the 3rd episode of Season 3 in the remake version of Hawaii Five-0
Synopsis
McGarrett and Danny’s relaxing day at sea takes a deadly turn when their boat is hijacked and they are left to die in the middle of the ocean but the two soon discover that their mysterious hijacker might be connected to the body of a man found on a boat.
Plot
Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams are having a day out at sea, fishing when they meet a man who has been lost at sea.
The man ultimately pulls a gun on them and hijacks the boat, stranding Steve and Danny at sea.
As they fight to survive, Steve and Danny find a yacht that has also been disabled and discover a body as well, the victim having been shot by the same weapon that the man who threatened Steve and Danny also used.
Members of the United States Coast Guard arrive and arrest both Steve and Danny but both are soon released due to the fact that the team verify their identities.
The team are soon eventually reunited and begin investigating the case where they soon discover that the hijacker, Gil Scates, a former guard who was fired for inappropriate advances towards Kate Burgess, wife of Al Burgess, the victim on the yacht.
H50 soon realize that Scates believes that he has gotten away with murder.
Chin Ho Kelly and his cousin, Kono Kalakaua stakeout the apartment where Scates lives and when Kono leaves, Chin manages to arrest Scates but instead finds himself hanging of the top of the roof.
When Kono arrives, she rushes to Chin's aid but not before she successfully manages to subdue Scates.
Steve and Danny later interrogate Scates who claims he's innocent and they soon learn that Kate wanted Scates to kill her husband so they could be together, and then she sabotaged the yacht, Kate presumably double-crossing Scates and framing him for the killing.
Hawaii Five-0 arrive and attempt to arrest Kate, only for her sister-in-law Jenny to kill Kate in revenge.

Danny Williams: You punch it in the nose, or it eats your hands! I know these things.
Danny Williams: We’ve got a dead body below deck sir.
Ship Mate: I can explain that.
Catherine Rollins: Steve I was so worried.
Danny Williams: Hey. I’m fine.
